Your Profile

Adecco Life Science, a specialized division of the Adecco Group, is recruiting for a client company operating in the design and construction of modules, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers for the pharmaceutical sector. We are seeking a Sourcing Manager.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and optimize supplier base, including prequalification and management, to ensure cost-effective supply with consistent quality, acceptable service, and delivery levels.
  2. Identify, develop, and implement regional sourcing strategies to develop and optimize the supply base in Europe, aiming to reduce total delivered cost, mitigate risks, and improve supply security and quality consistency.
  3. Understand technical specifications, product performance requirements, manufacturing processes, and user expectations.
  4. Collaborate with related functional teams to resolve purchasing issues and minimize project disruptions.
  5. Develop contract strategies and negotiate key commercial and supply agreements to support company goals.
  6. Stay informed about industry trends in assigned categories and advise the Purchasing team to support margin and growth objectives.
  7. Demonstrate strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field. An advanced degree in Supply Chain, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or Finance is preferred.
  • More than 5 years of procurement experience in the engineering, automation, pharmaceutical, or chemical industries.
  • Experience with industrial or equipment manufacturing and familiarity with European supply bases such as piping, valves, instruments, and construction vendors.
  • International work experience, either academic or professional.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proven leadership, teamwork, and project management skills.
  • Successful track record in structured negotiations with outstanding results.

Additional Details

Contract type: CCNL for the Metalmeccanico sector; level and RAL will be based on experience. Includes lunch ticket (€8.00 per workday) and an annual bonus based on performance. Permanent contract directly with the company.

Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with some remote work possible.
