Job Description:

Position Overview:

  • A team player who is eager to develop and succeed within a growing business.
  • You should be a confident self-starter with natural leadership abilities and excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Manage the Production Planning deliverables.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of scheduling management systems.
  • Proactively communicate any divergence from the plan to the Operations Manager.
  • Analyze the critical path and working constraints to evaluate the impact of schedule changes and suggest alternatives.
  • Develop and update weekly short-term schedules in consultation with the customer Operations Manager, Customer, and planning team.
  • Ensure compliance with STS procedures and standards during Base maintenance activities.
  • Assist the Planning Team with the daily sequencing of aircraft work.
  • Ensure sufficient competent personnel are available to plan, perform, supervise, inspect, and certify work in the ORS facility.
  • Maintain a suitable working environment for production tasks.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available to perform planned tasks.
  • Verify the competence of all personnel engaged in production activities.
  • Notify the Operations Manager if available man-hours for production fall below 75% over one month.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety regulations are followed in production.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of EASA Part 145 Production requirements.
  • Completed an engineering apprenticeship, preferably in Aeronautical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 20 years aircraft industry experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience in aircraft production structures.
  • Experience in structures modification supervision.
  • Experience working in a customer-controlled environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
