Job Description:

Airbus Defence and Space A400M Services Germany, located in Garbsen/Wunstorf, is the in-country service provider for the German A400M fleet. To optimize the process within the GAF A400M material quality check framework, particularly in the MRO Network (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) in Spain, a Quality Assurance Warehouse position is available at the ZAL Services logistic warehouse in Seville within the Quality Material Services department.

Our Team

You will join the Quality Material Services department at the Tablada site, which handles a variety of quality projects and services. This dynamic team collaborates closely with internal units, local teams, and external stakeholders. As a Quality Assurance Officer Warehouse at ZAL logistic warehouse, you will engage in initiatives aimed at improving material management under the DEMM contract.

Your tasks:

  1. Qualified acceptance of material deliveries, including incoming/outgoing inspection.
  2. Checking and validating all delivered information against customer orders.
  3. Creating discrepancies in Airbus systems and supporting their resolution, including issuing ZK-labels.
  4. Issuing proper documentation according to customer contracts.
  5. Checking and validating all delivered CoC information.
  6. Leading and driving resolution of quality issues and continuous improvement projects, setting measurement standards, and facilitating improvements.
  7. Increasing process performance and product adherence to standards.
  8. Enhancing process reliability and repeatability, both before and after process changes.
  9. Providing quality performance visibility through KPI scorecards.
  10. Launching corrective and preventive actions based on KPI results, addressing nonconformances and customer complaints.
  11. Managing and resolving customer claims and issues within Material Services scope, supporting back-office functions.
  12. Coordinating with Airbus Support Centers and their quality representatives.
  13. Driving sustainable improvement through efficient processes to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
  14. Managing corrective action plans to prevent re-occurrences and reduce deviations.
  15. Optimizing current inspection activities.
  16. Conducting investigations and root cause analyses for quality or technical issues, including PPS and CNQ.
  17. Contributing to the integrity of the Quality System in compliance with regulations (Part 21, Part 145, Peram 145).

    The skills required

    • Degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
    • 1-3 years of experience in Quality, Production, Engineering, or Logistics.
    • Knowledge of Lean and Process improvement methods is a plus.
    • Knowledge of Quality principles and IT tools is a plus.
    • Proactive attitude.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Organized and structured approach.
    • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
    • Willingness to travel to Germany.
    • Early career experience is advantageous.
