Chief Officer/1St Mate

We are currently seeking a Chief Officer / Mate for a 38m Motor Yacht based in the Barcelona area. This is a permanent position starting ASAP, cruising the Western Mediterranean for the 2025 season.

The yacht is primarily private with no charters planned this season, though it typically undertakes one or two charters per year. You’ll be joining a great team with good owners and a supportive captain.

• Home Port : Spain (Barcelona area)
• Vessel Size : 38m | 360GT
• Rotation : No rotation
• Leave : 38 days annually
• Salary : DOE / Subject to negotiation

Requirements :

• Minimum 2 years of yachting experience
• Valid STCW and ENG1
• No visible tattoos

• Comfortable in a leadership role and able to support the Captain with bridge and deck operations
• Enjoys maintaining a high standard on a well-run yacht
