About Us : At NIUKO Technologies, we deliver Industry 4.0 and digital transformation solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing organizations. Our mission is to drive impactful digital transformation, empowering clients with innovative solutions that redefine manufacturing excellence by bridging data from the plant floor to business and cloud systems.

Role Overview : Join our dynamic team to lead and coordinate high-impact digital transformation projects for top-tier pharmaceutical manufacturers! NIUKO is seeking a

Solution Architect

with a passion for digital transformation technologies and a drive for innovation. As a Solution Architect, you will take a

hands-on engineering role in designing, implementing, and integrating

industrial and IT / OT systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing clients. You will lead the development of secure, scalable architectures that unify plant floor systems, MES platforms, and enterprise / cloud environments. This is a

deeply technical engineering role —where you don’t just define strategies, but bring them to life through direct configuration, integration, and commissioning. You will work closely with clients throughout the full solution lifecycle, serving as both

architect and implementation lead

in their digital transformation journey. Projects range from modernizing legacy infrastructures in pharmaceutical manufacturing to building cloud-enabled solutions such as predictive maintenance platforms. This is a hybrid work opportunity.

Design and implement architectures for modernizing manufacturing and lab environments, as well as building new digital platforms for life sciences manufacturing applications (e.g., predictive maintenance). Systems Integration :

Connect industrial systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES, Historians) using OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs, and other protocols. Standardize and contextualize plant floor data. Cloud & Edge Solutions :

Design and implement hybrid IT / OT architectures that leverage cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and edge gateways for secure data exchange and analysis. Client Partnership :

Guide clients through their digital transformation journey, from early concept and technology selection to implementation and commissioning. Security & Compliance :

Apply frameworks such as GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, ISA / IEC 62443, and Annex 11 to ensure regulatory compliance and cybersecurity. Technical Mentorship :

Support internal technical teams by promoting architectural best practices, knowledge of emerging technologies, and technical excellence.

Required Qualifications : Education :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or related field. Language :

Fluent in English (oral and written). Spanish is a plus. Technical Hands-on Experience

with manufacturing systems

such as Aveva OSI PI, Ignition, AspenTech Inmation, or other related systems. Technical Experience

with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MongoDB). Proficiency with industrial protocols :

OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs. Scripting and data management

using SQL, LUA, Python. Builder Mentality :

A mindset to build creative technology solutions, and a desire to learn the latest IT / OT technologies in manufacturing.

Preferred Skills : Experience

with centralized batch reporting

such as RtReports, Aveva Reports for Operations, or other industrial reporting platforms. Strong interest or background in

and cloud-native design. Experience working on

predictive maintenance, equipment monitoring, or data-driven platforms . Exposure to

data analytics

and visualization

tools (Power BI, Tableau). Familiarity with

containerization

Docker, Kubernetes) and version control platforms (Git, Bitbucket). Experience in validated manufacturing environments is a plus.

What We Offer : Collaborative Multidisciplinary Team :

Work alongside experts with deep expertise in Industry 4.0 and Pharma 4.0 technologies. Innovative Projects :

Lead cutting-edge digital transformation initiatives for leading multinational pharmaceutical companies. Supportive Work Environment :

Be part of a cooperative, positive, and growth-oriented workplace culture. Attractive Compensation :

Competitive salary package aligned with industry standards. Work-Life Balance :

Flexible working hours and remote work options available.
