Position Overview :

• Development & operation of internal developer platform for IaC-based Developer Self Service integrating with a wide variety of infrastructure and platform components (Python, Yaml, GitLab & GitHub CI, Ansible and more)
• Development of a Kubernetes-based application deployment to replace the VM-based Ansible deployment (ArgoCD, Helm, Kustomize, GitOps)
• Development, implementation & operation of the Kubernetes infrastructure (Currently Rancher, potentially k0s, Ceph storage, virtual and bare-metal hosts)
• Further development of the Ansible-based IaC landscape
• Troubleshooting of complex problems in distributed systems

Main Tasks :

• Kubernetes Cluster Management: Lead the management, operation, development, and continuous improvement of our Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications, maintaining high stability and reliability.
• Advanced Linux Infrastructure Management: Use advanced techniques and orchestration technologies, including Ansible and OpenTofu, to manage and optimize our Linux systems and VMs.
• Security and Compliance: Develop and implement security measures, backup strategies, and compliance initiatives to protect our data and systems. Monitor incidents and respond promptly.
• Expert User Support: Provide advanced technical support, resolve complex issues, and ensure a positive user experience.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation to promote transparency and knowledge sharing.
• IT Projects: Lead planning, execution, and management of critical IT projects, ensuring successful delivery.
• Training & Mentorship: Share expertise and mentor colleagues to develop their skills.
• Platform Architecture: Design scalable, reliable, and secure platform architectures to meet current and future needs.

Platform Ownership :

• Own the TP Cloud Platform, ensuring its operation, performance, and ongoing innovation.
• Manage development, collaboration, and infrastructure tools following best practices.
• Maintain and optimize network, server, Kubernetes, and database infrastructures using advanced technologies.
• Contribute to strategic planning for IT infrastructure and services.
• Develop and operate an Internal Developer Platform based on IaC.
• Implement Kubernetes-based application deployments using Rancher.
• Enhance the Ansible-based IaC landscape.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed systems.

• Mentor team members and promote collaboration.
