The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for driving the growth of sales within their assigned region. This role involves managing a team of sales professionals, developing regional sales strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize revenue and market penetration. The Regional Sales Director will play a critical role in expanding the company’s presence, achieving sales targets, and fostering long-term relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales Strategy & Execution :

Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.

  • Identify market opportunities and lead efforts to drive product and service adoption across the region.
  • Monitor and analyze regional sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary.

Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.

  • Set clear sales targets and expectations for team members.
  • Provide coaching and training to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Client Relationship Management :

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners in the region.

  • Negotiate and close large-scale contracts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis :

Monitor regional market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

  • Identify potential threats and opportunities in the market.
  • Gather customer feedback to refine product offerings and service levels.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams :

Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment in messaging, product offerings, and customer support.

  • Coordinate with other regional directors to share best practices and align on company-wide goals.
  • Reporting & Forecasting :

Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for senior management.

  • Track regional performance metrics, including sales revenue, pipeline activity, and team performance.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Experience :

Proven experience as a Sales Director, Regional Sales Manager, or similar role.

  • A minimum of 7 years in sales management, preferably in healthcare.
  • Experience in leading and developing sales teams.
  • Skills :

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute and drive results.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

  • Travel :

Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
