Reports to : Engineering Director

Experience :

5-10 years of experience in the design, calculation, and management of comprehensive air conditioning and classified room projects in the pharmaceutical industry, including biological research, formulation, and production.

Expertise in regulatory and legal requirements related to the design and construction of clean rooms, including architecture, HVAC, laminar flows, and air treatment.

Experience in aseptic production environments, particularly with isolator technology in final filling processes.

Experience in project planning considering process aspects, production capacity, regulations, user requirements, installation details, room distribution, and flow plans for materials, personnel, and classified areas.

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

English language skills at minimum B2.2 certification.

Functions :

The Plant Engineer provides engineering support to manufacturing, focusing on process equipment improvements, technological advances, CAPEX projects, equipment maintenance, cost optimization, safety, and environmental compliance. Demonstrates strong engineering skills, collaboration, and teamwork.

Supports safety initiatives and promotes safety responsibility within the Engineering Department, ensuring health and safety risks are controlled.

Supports project execution from concept to completion, including facilities, systems, services, and equipment.

Collects and analyzes project data, develops solutions, and collaborates effectively in problem-solving scenarios.

Works with end users to develop system requirements, specifications, and supports factory / site acceptance testing (FAT / SAT).

Prepares and reviews engineering documents such as URS, risk assessments, safety assessments, and others related to facilities and equipment.

Collaborates with departments like Production, Quality Assurance, Validations, Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and QC labs to ensure process integrity throughout their lifecycle.

Assists in FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.

Procures equipment, maintains engineering records, and ensures compliance with GMP and good engineering practices.

Supports start-up activities and manages quality events, including change controls and root cause analyses.
