SCADA and Control Engineer

Diamond Foundry is seeking a talented SCADA Controls Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, implementing, commissioning, maintaining, and optimizing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and industrial control systems (ICS), including PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of control system principles, communication protocols, and cybersecurity in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

1. SCADA Design and Development: Design, develop, and commission SCADA architectures, including HMIs, communication networks, data historians, and reporting systems, with experience in Siemens and Ignition software.
2. Control System Implementation and Integration: Implement, integrate, and commission PLCs, RTUs, and other control hardware, configuring communication protocols and developing control logic.
3. System Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for existing systems, including backups, disaster recovery, updates, and failure diagnosis.
4. Data Management, Analysis, and Cybersecurity: Manage data historians for KPI analysis and visualization, implement cybersecurity measures, conduct security assessments, and enforce policies.
5. Collaboration and Compliance: Collaborate with teams, communicate system status, participate in projects, and ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field, with 4+ years of experience in SCADA and industrial control systems.
• Proficiency in SCADA platforms such as Siemens WinCC OA/TIA Portal or Ignition, and strong knowledge of PLC programming languages like Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, or Structured Text.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/RTU, Ethernet/IP).
• Fluency in English.

Salary: €35,000 - €45,000 per year
