Legal Advisor, Regulatory & Compliance

We’re seeking a highly driven Data Privacy Lawyer to join our Global Data Privacy Team as we continue to scale rapidly. In this role, you will support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) across a broad range of privacy-related matters, with a particular focus on vendor risk management and legal aspects of data privacy compliance.

This is a fully remote position, with flexibility for candidates based within ±1 hour of CET.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the DPO in developing and managing Job&Talent’s global data privacy program, focusing on vendor risk and legal compliance.
2. Overseeing privacy compliance efforts across the company, collaborating with legal, security, and business teams.
3. Responding to customer and partner privacy inquiries, conducting AI governance and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs), and negotiating data protection terms.
4. Contributing to training, internal playbooks, and legal resources to strengthen privacy awareness across the organization.

Minimum qualifications:

• Fully qualified lawyer in at least one EU member state.
• Minimum 5 years of experience advising on global data protection matters and negotiating data protection-related contracts.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a broad range of privacy-related projects.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (C2 level).
• In-house legal experience at a high-growth tech company.
• Familiarity with data protection frameworks outside the EU/UK, particularly in the U.S.
• Experience in data risk management or supporting privacy-related audits.
