What are we looking for?
We are looking for an ambitious and talented profile to join our Global Business Development Department as Business Development Analyst at our headquarters in Madrid.
MISSION :
The purpose of the Sales Analyst position is to enhance and support the Global Business Unit. This position will provide and create reporting that supports sales initiatives across the region, providing key insights on sales trends with key items and categories.
KEY FUNCTIONS :
- Perform sales and market data analysis for internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Use specific data to develop, prepare, and present information and recommendations in support of the sales team and key retail sales initiatives (such as retailer performance, trends & opportunities, pricing effectiveness, promotion effectiveness, etc.).
- Perform competitive analysis by manufacturer, brand, and package type to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges to core business areas.
- Give commercial support to the sales team : Info, regional scorecards, selling stories, etc.
- Develop and support deck creation for customer meetings.
- Undertake promotional analysis to support promotional decisions.
- Ensure baselines and promotions are timely entered in our forecasting software.
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCES :
- BSc / BA in business administration, management engineering, or related field.
- High skills in business analytics with a commercial mindset.
- Experience with data.
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Previous experience with Power BI is very valuable.
- Strong analytical ability with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Data-driven approach with a high attention to details.
- Process-oriented, fact-based, and a strong sense of urgency.
- Cross-cultural awareness and ability to work with different cultures.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written. Any additional language is a plus.
