ABOUT CRAG :

CRAG is an independent research institution engaged in leading-edge basic and applied plant and farm animal sciences. It is a consortium of CSIC, IRTA, UAB, and UB, located at the UAB Campus with 200 members worldwide.

The Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) seeks a PhD Student to join the group focused on the Structure and Evolution of Plant Genomes.

The candidate will be responsible for :

• Analyzing pangenomic data of rice
• Studying the impact of mobile elements in rice evolution

Qualifications :

• Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
• Good command of English

Experience :

• Bioinformatics and use of computational clusters
• Plant genomics and evolution
• Analysis of plant transposable elements

Languages : ENGLISH - Good level
