MISSION
Improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction for the process or specific technology through standardization, benchmarking, and ongoing study of new technologies. Develop functions as a recognized expert in the process within the area of responsibility.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide technical support for employees responsible for these processes or technologies.
- Define robust standards, work instructions, procedures, and formats for the area, ensuring they are official and accessible to all Ficosa employees.
- Set performance rates for key industrial processes.
- Draft training documents and ensure their implementation across all regions.
- Implement corporate strategy lines within the area of responsibility.
- Benchmark efficiency using equivalent metrics for all Ficosa production plants and external suppliers to share best practices.
- Proactively notify managers of obsolete technology that may impact productivity.
- Participate in establishing the Ficosa Manufacturing System (FMS) for relevant processes.
- Decide which processes require new technology and assess their feasibility.
- Ensure all plants adhere to standards to pass official audits successfully.
- Incorporate lessons learned into standards and share them across all plants to prevent repeating mistakes.
- Set purchasing strategies for equipment and tools, maintaining an audited list of local and global suppliers to optimize performance and costs.
- Support local teams in supplier development, especially those involved in design partnerships.
- Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics and comply with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and related training.
- Lead and motivate the team, fostering Ficosa’s values and ensuring effectiveness and development.
- Provide the team with resources to comply with OHSE rules and promote a safe working environment.
- Contribute actively to maintaining and improving OHSE and Quality standards.

Position Requirements
Academic Background : Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Languages : Advanced proficiency in English (written & spoken).
Experience : Minimum of 5 years as a process engineer or plant industrial / process master in the relevant process or technology.
Travel : Willing to travel as required.
Other Specifications
Additional Training : Technical training in the relevant process or technology, Six Sigma methodology, safety, ergonomics, SPC, and team management are advantageous.
