The learning manager is a member of the leadership team within a fulfilment centre and is focused on managing the learning needs of all employees. They must have the ability and initiative to understand the business needs, analyse issues and influence solutions / outcomes. This is a team player who not only leverages his / her own team to respond effectively to a variety of training scenarios, but is able to work closely with a central EU team to effectively prioritize and deploy training programs based on customer need – from training processes at scale to ongoing leader development.

A day in the life
As a Learning Manager, your role centres on a range of key responsibilities crucial for our organisation’s growth and success. You’ll be responsible for team management, business analysis, data interpretation, daily team meetings, project oversight for strategy implementation, and risk mitigation.
Your day-to-day routine will be dynamic, with active participation in various meetings, including our “Daily Dive Deep” sessions, stakeholder calls (such as Assumptions, Labour Planning, Quality, and Safety discussions), and one-on-one meetings with essential stakeholders. You will also play a pivotal role in PIT governance, overseeing aspects like capacity management, trainer certification, content enhancement, and project management.
Besides these critical tasks, you’ll be responsible for team organisation, training coordination, and administrative duties. This includes reviewing resumes, interviewing, and providing valuable feedback during trainer interactions. You’ll actively contribute to project initiatives, manage non-routine tasks, and prioritise your personal development through ongoing training opportunities.”
