Java Developer | AWS | 100% Remote

We are seeking a Java Developer to contribute to a project with a global leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking, and savings accounts. Proficiency in English at a C1 level is required.

Location: 100% remote for candidates based in Spain

Requirements:

• English: C1 Very strong
• Java programming skills and knowledge of building APIs (>4 years of experience)
• Deep understanding of design patterns and principles (e.g., SOLID)
• Experience with various testing types: Unit, API, Acceptance, Load Testing
• Experience with distributed architectures like SOA or MSA
• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Experience with REST APIs
• Relevant experience with microservices
• Experience with Gradle or Maven
• Experience with Enterprise Jenkins

Desired Skills:

• Experience in regulated environments like banking
• AWS certification
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Fargate)
• Experience with TDD and BDD

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software
• Ensure stable and smooth maintenance of software in a DevOps environment
• Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Work independently and collaboratively
• Participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle, including QA and peer reviews
• Align with Product Management goals and innovate within your domain
