Job Description
TheRegional Innovation & Portfolio Managerplays a pivotal role in shaping the innovation pipeline and optimizing the product portfolio for the dermo-cosmetic brand across the EMEAC region. This position ensures strategic alignment with the global brand vision while tailoring initiatives to meet regional and local market dynamics, consumer insights, regulatory landscapes, and competitive trends. The role involves close collaboration with global innovation, operations, and marketing teams, as well as regulatory, medical, commercial functions, and affiliate markets to drive successful product launches and effective lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Innovation Management
Act as the regional voice in global innovation forums, ensuring regional insights and unmet needs are incorporated into global innovation pipelines.
Validate new product concepts with lead markets in the region.
Portfolio Management
Monitor and manage the existing product portfolio and NPD roll-out across the EMEAC region, ensuring product portfolio and performance optimization, and SKU rationalization.
Lead regional portfolio reviews, recommending optimization actions based on market performance and strategic fit.
Ensure regulatory and medical compliance of the portfolio across diverse regional markets.
Go-to-Market Strategy
Support and coordinate the go-to-market execution of new launches in collaboration with global and local marketing teams.
Ensure delivery to markets of launch toolkits including selling materials, messaging frameworks, and claims substantiation.
Monitor post-launch performance and identify corrective actions where necessary.
Partner with local affiliates to gather market feedback, share best practices, and ensure effective execution.
Liaise with global product operations, supply chain, finance, and regulatory to ensure portfolio decisions are feasible and aligned with business objectives.
Conduct regular competitive and trend analysis to identify regional opportunities and threats.
Track market dynamics, consumer behaviors, and dermo cosmetic innovation trends across the region.
Serve as the regional interface between the global Head of HCP Strategy and local affiliates regarding HCP initiatives.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-market learning to elevate HCP engagement capabilities.
Ensure consistent messaging, educational content, and medical narratives for countries through dissemination of medical education toolkits and materials.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in product/brand management, preferably in skincare or consumer healthcare.
Experience in regional or global roles is a strong advantage.
Demonstrated success in innovation and/or portfolio management.
Showcased Strategic thinking with strong analytical and project management skills
Strong understanding of the dermo cosmetic market and skin health needs.
Experience working across culturally diverse and complex regions.
Fluent in English; other regional languages are a plus.
