You'll join the Global Loyalty Development team, dedicated to enhancing customer experience through the Loyalty & Customer Data product. Our goal is to deliver appealing, accessible benefits across all customer touchpoints with MediaMarktSaturn, fostering strong, lasting relationships.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust backend services supporting scalable and reliable applications in our Customer & Marketing environment using Kotlin.
• Utilizing infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, GitOps with Flux, and Docker to build and manage scalable systems.
• Developing CI / CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for efficient deployment processes.
• Working with Google Cloud products including BigQuery, GKE, PubSub, and MongoDB Atlas to optimize cloud-based applications.
• Employing testing frameworks like Kotest and Testcontainers to ensure high-quality, reliable code.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and codebase, working within agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Your Profile

• 3+ years of professional experience as a backend software developer, preferably with Kotlin and JVM languages.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, with hands-on experience being a plus.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform, is advantageous.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and using GitHub Actions for CI / CD.
• Experience with cloud services, especially GCP : BigQuery, GKE, and PubSub.
• Familiarity with managing and integrating APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with new technologies.
