Head of Communication & PR

Hey there! Are you a seasoned PR and communications expert with a strong sense of newsworthiness and international experience? Factorial is looking for a Head of Communication and PR to drive our global public relations strategy. In this role, you’ll lead the charge from strategy to execution, managing everything from localizing messaging to organizing executive media engagements and creating high-impact campaigns. Your goal is to bring Factorial’s story to life across various markets.

As the leader of a small but driven global team, you’ll oversee regional communications professionals and PR agencies, guiding them toward achieving outstanding results. You’ll play both a strategic and hands-on role, ensuring your team and partners remain focused on delivering impactful media coverage.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept

1. Shape PR Strategy: Define and implement Factorial’s international PR strategy, overseeing all aspects from messaging refinement to large-scale campaigns and media outreach.
2. Lead a Global Team: Build and manage a high-performing communications team, including regional professionals and agencies. Be a mentor and motivator, supporting your team while also playing an active role in executing strategies.
3. Foster Media Relationships: Proactively cultivate relationships with key journalists across Spain, France, Germany, Italy, and Portugal. Regularly scan for opportunities, identifying the right media contacts to ensure consistent press coverage.
4. Collaborate for Impact: Partner with marketing, sales, and other teams to uncover compelling stories that differentiate Factorial and highlight our innovative approach, ensuring alignment with business goals.
5. Craft Strategic Narratives: Develop and refine messaging that aligns with industry trends and news cycles. From strategic campaigns to one-off story ideas, your ability to position Factorial in the media will be crucial.
6. Focus on Growth: Be ready to take ownership of your career development, with the opportunity to grow your leadership role within the wider marketing team and the company.

Qualifications

• Extensive PR Experience: At least 5 years in public relations, with a strong background in managing international markets and established media connections in Europe.
• Leadership & Team Development: Experience in leading and developing a global team, including managing external agencies to deliver measurable results.
• News Expertise: A sharp ability to recognize newsworthy trends and pitch relevant stories to major publications across Europe.
• Strategic Communicator: A talent for translating complex ideas into compelling narratives that resonate with the media and potential customers alike.
• Results-Driven: Skilled at evaluating PR success through metrics such as media impressions, brand visibility, and audience engagement.
• Agility & Ambition: Enthusiastic about working in a fast-moving environment and continuously striving to grow both personally and professionally.
