For one of our key clients and world leaders in materials technology, Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) is looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer to assist our client in the realization / construction of this megaproject in Northern Spain.

Once the construction phase begins, full on-site presence will be required, expected towards the end of this year or early next year.

Please note that you would initially work as an independent consultant (autónomo) through CMC, with the client intending to make the role permanent after or within the 2-year contract, based on successful collaboration.

The Sr. Electrical Engineer will be a key leader in designing and overseeing the electrical systems within a specific area or unit. Responsibilities include managing EPCs through all project phases, assisting as needed, and reporting progress to the project manager.

The main responsibilities include :

• Designing and implementing tailored electrical systems to meet operational process requirements.
• Addressing and resolving electrical issues during project construction, overseeing subcontractors during startup and commissioning.
• Approving electrical designs and RFMA for subcontractors, participating in vendor evaluation and technical communication.
• Collaborating with the Maintenance department to introduce process improvements.
• Maintaining and updating relevant drawings for seamless project handover.
• Supporting equipment upgrade projects and proposing improvements.
