Requirements and Responsibilities
- Develop positive business relationships with brokers to ensure sales growth.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the discovery process and presenting Emerson Rogers' products and services persuasively.
- Follow a sales business plan to generate new broker leads and appointments.
- Participate actively in sales meetings and 1:1 meetings with the sales manager.
- Use market and product knowledge to guide brokers through health care reform complexities.
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers.
- Strategize with brokers on sales opportunities to grow the book of business.
- Track appointments and broker opportunities using CRM.
- Assist with key case service activities, including additional lines of business sales, case conservation, renewal, and service activities.

- Ability to sell new business and maintain broker relationships.
- Consultative sales approach and self-motivation.
- Goal-oriented with high activity levels.
- Excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
- Organized and focused in a busy environment.
- Personable, credible, professional, and dependable.
- Strong understanding of Employee Benefits and industry trends.
- Knowledge of funding arrangements like fully insured, self-insured, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Life, Accident & Health License required.
