Job Description:
The Opportunity:
Our Planning and Fulfillment HUB in Europe we are looking for a: HUB Expeditor. Currently P&F HUB give service to Power Transformers, Insulation and Components and Distribution Transformers. Working closely with 18 factories among the HUB, solving internal feeder factories escalations, highly collaborating with the HUB Material Planner, ensuring material availability and covering visit with suppliers in topics of material availability (if it’s the case). On site support could be needed.
How you will make an impact:
- Consistent leadership of the forum for internal escalations, ensuring feedback, fast attention and resolution of the topics.
- Proactively assessing the risk and defining the level of criticality of every escalation.
- 100 days material availability full deployment among the 18 factories in HUB EU.
- To facilitates interaction for material coverage of expediting topics between factories.
- Performing root cause analyzes behind every escalation to tight and execute corrective actions behind the topic.
- Supporting in activities of collaboration with SCM and SQE’s when we need to rehabilitate a supplier, if this implicates a visit to the onsite supplier.
- Supporting the HUB Material Planner with the digitalization for raw material forecast collection.
- To be an agent of control when crisis situations are in place, implementing countermeasures to control the situation and orienting the solution through the proper root cause to do not fight the same opportunity twice.
- Being an active figure solving the expedition process from the beginning to the end among all the processes, including logistic and warehouse facilitation.
Your background:
- A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Organizational Systems Organization, Strategic Administration, Industrial Engineer or similar field.
- Operational buyer, material planner or planning experience required.
- High Capacity to assess the risk in the big picture required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system is required.
- Highly proactive and strong sense of urgency required.
- Good time management and task prioritization, high level of self-motivation, curiosity, collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
- Team player, ready to play the role across different countries with high level of accountability, strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, with high attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality-long term solutions.
