Based in Galindo, Spain, our Transformer Service Center is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.

This role involves collaborating with experts from Sales, Project Management, Procurement, and Operations to develop advanced power transformer solutions that meet customer needs. You will gain hands-on experience with simulation tools and build strong customer relationships through technical support and design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and manufacture power transformers according to customer requirements.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and external customers.
• Engage with Hitachi Energy's global network for knowledge sharing.
• Utilize advanced simulation tools to address technical challenges.
• Prepare technical documents and engineering reports following established formats.
• Address technical problems systematically and propose innovative solutions.
• Contribute ideas to enhance products, processes, and tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Physics.
• Up to 2 years of professional experience, preferably with transformers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Proficiency in PC tools; knowledge of electrical design software is a plus.
