PYP (-4) Substitution Teacher

SEK International School Catalunya needs to incorporate a PYP (P-4) Substitution Teacherfor 27 of August 2025.

Mission:

Nurturing the holistic development of young learners. Fostering inquiry-based learning, promoting social and emotional growth, and supporting the development of foundational skills in a safe and engaging environment.

Functions:

⋅ Develop and implement teaching plans for the transdisciplinary and disciplinary units.
⋅ Attend meetings and participate in collaborative planning sessions.
⋅ Promote exploration and inquiry, encouraging students to ask questions, investigate ideas, and think critically
⋅ Develop interpersonal skills, such as cooperation, communication, and emotional regulation
⋅ Integrate learning across various disciplines, helping students make connections between different subjects and the world around them
⋅ Communicate with parents the students’ progress
⋅ Attend to school activities such as festivals and Open Days

Requirements:

• Early Years teacher
• Teaching experience, preferably in the PYP
• English native speaker level.

We offer:

• Fulltime Contract: 9:20 - 17:20 h.
• Substitution contract
• Location: La Garriga - Barcelona
• Salary: according to the private schools agreement
