Senior Operation Engineer (Tarragona)

Position: Operation Engineer

We are seeking an engineer with at least 5 years of demonstrable experience operating nuclear power plants to join our dynamic and expanding team.

The role involves supporting the maintenance and operation of nuclear simulators, conducting operational tests, diagnosing situations, and specifying work orders. The candidate should have strong decision-making skills, team collaboration ability, and leadership qualities.

Work location: Tarragona facilities in Hospitalet de l'Infant, with potential travel to Ascó, Vandellós, Madrid, and France.

Main Tasks:

1. Specify modifications to simulators based on operating discrepancies and plant design updates.
2. Design and execute acceptance tests for simulator modifications.
3. Perform periodic testing to maintain simulator certification.
4. Support training school in testing and validating training scenarios.
5. Participate in audits and inspections of the simulator.
6. Engage in engineering analyses related to plant design modifications.
7. Validate changes to plant operating procedures.
8. Provide simulator training for end users.

Requirements:

• Training in operation and PWR technology.
• French language proficiency at C1 level.
• Experience in training, simulation, or engineering support related to CCNN is valued.
• Willingness for occasional short-term travel.
