Job Description

As a Production and Material Control Asst. Manager, you will be overall in charge of scheduling and coordinating the manufacturing process, particularly Material, Production, and Delivery Planning. You will work closely with various teams, including production, inspection, sales, and external customers, to ensure timely delivery of goods.

A successful Production Planning Asst. Manager should have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, be detail-oriented, and always strive to optimize the manufacturing process.

The Successful Candidate Will Perform The Following Tasks

• Create and maintain production schedules and ensure that they are aligned with customer demand.
• Communicate with various departments, including purchasing, engineering, production, and sales, to ensure that production is on schedule and meets requirements.
• Resolve schedule conflicts and adjust production schedules if needed.
• Monitor production metrics such as efficiency and utilization.
• Monitor daily output and inventory of stocks.
• Determine material, tools, equipment, and manpower requirements.
• Review, recommend, and maintain buffer levels of finished goods based on demand/requirements.
• Execute delivery plans, monitor, and update the delivery status.

Qualifications

Graduate of either Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills, both oral and written.
