For one of our best clients in Madrid, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team.

Tasks :

• Assist management in its daily accounting and financial responsibilities
• Maintain general accounting and be the contact person for the shared service center on the accounting / finance side
• Carry out a monthly review of accounts (balance sheet / charges) and carry out consistency analyzes
• To be familiar with the AEAT mail box
• Support monthly closing tasks - Prepare weekly documentation to be treated in the bank
• Support Shared Service Center with reporting packages, balance sheet and accounting annexes
• Actively participate in the implementation of a new accounting and management tool
• Understand and study the financial and accounting processes of the new tool
• Test processes, report and participate in problem resolution
• Participation in data migration management in collaboration with other financial services
• Monitor customer collections in collaboration with the shared service and management
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Ensure the proper application of existing rules and procedures
• Cash Flow Planning (direct / indirect-NWC)

Qualifications :

• Experience : minimum 8-10 years in general accounting
• Qualification : Master's Degree in Economics, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Broad knowledge of IFRS (including POC accounting) and PGC accounting standards
• Deep knowledge of SAP and MS Excel
• Proficiency in Business English
• Proactive, autonomous and team player
• Detail-minded accounting
• Excellent analytical skills
• Desirable : experience in a consulting / audit firm

Conditions :

• Contract with Huxley
• 4 days in the office - Friday remote
• Location : Madrid
