COVID-19 has accelerated the demand for flexible working, prompting rapid growth of their global network. To support this expansion, they are recruiting partners to open and operate new locations. Their target partners include building owners, franchise operators, and competitors, with a focus on a broad and dynamic approach to business development.

Job Purpose:

The Community Manager (CM) ensures an exceptional service experience and a welcoming atmosphere for all customers and visitors. They conduct tours, present service options to prospective clients, and focus on retaining existing customers while nurturing new business opportunities. The main goal is to achieve occupancy and profitability targets while creating a vibrant community that attracts and retains customers across multiple city locations.

Reports to: City Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for the centre, providing professional and friendly service to all visitors and customers, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Maintain a clean, show-ready centre at all times, ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.
  • Enhance customer experience through onboarding, smooth move-ins, and feedback collection to improve services.
  • Drive revenue by conducting tours with prospective customers and promoting memberships, upgrades, and renewals.
  • Generate leads via social media and online platforms such as Craigslist, Kijiji, Facebook Marketplace, etc.
  • Identify revenue opportunities through upselling, referrals, and renewals by engaging effectively with customers and prospects.
  • Manage account receivables, including collections, escalations, and renewals, and assist with customer move-in processes.
  • Utilize marketing tools to organize local events, network, and build partnerships to boost community engagement.
  • Record daily service charges accurately in the billing system.
  • Support training and development of team members, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Present a professional image by greeting customers, maintaining the centre’s appearance, and pursuing ongoing skill development.
  • Consistently seek ways to improve customer satisfaction, aiming to meet or exceed Net Promoter Score targets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
