The Job

As a content moderator, you will be responsible for reviewing and filtering the content of a popular social media platform to ensure a safe experience for its users. This includes reviewing user flagging reports regarding content on the platform. The role is highly detail-oriented, requiring concentration and maturity.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Understanding and staying up-to-date with the client’s policies and guidelines
  • Analyzing and identifying content that does not comply with requirements and flagging it for action promptly
  • Reviewing reported content within agreed turnaround times and quality standards
  • Recognizing trends and patterns, and escalating issues outside established policies
  • Using market-specific knowledge and insights to improve support for the user community
  • Reviewing sensitive content, which may involve graphic or disturbing subjects

The Profile

  • You speak Italian at a native level and are fluent in English (B2)
  • Experience in content moderation, customer service, or contact centers is a plus but not required
  • Affinity with social media platforms
  • Good computer skills and ability to handle highly sensitive content (e.g., graphic images)
  • Awareness of current cultural, political, and social events
  • You are professional and thorough
