Every day, Agilent Field Service Engineers help our customers to solve issues that enable scientists to make discoveries that enhance the quality of life. You will be responsible for supporting our clients with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and delivery of customer training on our biomolecular solutions including genomics (NGS, microfluidics, sample preparation…) and automation (robotic liquid handling…) products, Cell Divisions (Real Time Cell analysis, Cytometry, Microplates Washers and Readers).

Your main responsibilities will be :

  • Respond to customer needs by providing repair, installation, training, upgrade and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Contact customers in a timely manner and schedule service efficiently.
  • Connect with manager and sales team to understand and meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Maintain Agilent’s customer service reputation by aligning with all corporate policies and procedures.
  • Complete administrative paperwork and computer reports promptly and accurately.
  • Provide feedback to the Product Specialists, manufacturing or OEM vendors concerning performance anomalies encountered - use the complaint handling system as required.
  • Address customer requests for service and communicate proactively before, during and after service.

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with the following background :

  • University degree in Biology , Molecular Biology , Biotechnology or BioPharma .
  • Significant hands-on experience with biomolecular , genomics and / or automation solutions , either as an end-user OR in a similar technical support role is preferred.
  • Full proficiency in Spanish and at least good level of English .
  • A valid driving license .

On a personal level, you are proactive , outgoing and customer focused . You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team , to solve various types of problems . You have great communication and written skills to interact with many internal and external partners.
