We are looking for a passionate and dynamic
PPM Direct Cost Optimization! In this role, you will analyze the operational and financial activities of the Direct Material Departments to ensure efficiency without compromising quality. You will develop innovative methodologies to improve productivity and work with global teams to implement cost-saving strategies. What You Will Do
- Monitor and Evaluate: Continuously monitor and evaluate purchasing data to identify trends, areas for cost reduction, and opportunities to negotiate better terms with suppliers.
- Define Processes: Define FECS and Input Cost processes and pilot the validation process.
- Collaborate with Finance: Work closely with finance teams to set purchasing budgets, track expenditures, and forecast future purchasing needs while ensuring that cost optimization goals are met.
- Oversee Contracts: Oversee the contract lifecycle, ensuring that terms, delivery schedules, and pricing structures align with cost optimization objectives.
- Align with Organizational Goals: Work with other departments to ensure that purchasing decisions align with the broader goals of the organization, such as cost reduction, quality improvement, or process efficiency.
- Data and Analytics: Use data and analytics to measure and report on cost-saving initiatives, track the effectiveness of purchasing strategies, and provide insights to senior management.
What We Are Looking For
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in procurement management, cost optimization, or financial analysis.
- Data analysis: Ability to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Contract management: Experience overseeing the contract lifecycle.
- Interpersonal skills: Effective communication, collaboration in cross-functional teams, and negotiation with suppliers.
- Results-oriented: Strategic thinking, adaptability, and commitment to ethical and sustainable sourcing.
- English language proficiency: Ability to communicate effectively in English.
