Field Service Technician (Power conversion)

Responsibilities

Customer Service :

  • Ensuring the efficient performance of services delivered to our customers worldwide.
  • Providing field activities when requested : supervision of installation, testing, commissioning, and training.
  • Executing emergency site interventions.
  • Conducting audits and maintenance jobs.
  • Elaborating technical reports.

Support to Sales and Contract Execution :

  • Supporting Sales Engineer on substation surveys and permissions for site access.
  • Identifying new business opportunities : sale of spare parts, repairs, on-site services, modernizations, retrofits, training, and maintenance contracts.

Logistics and Stock :

  • Supporting the management of stock of spare parts and tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Technical degree in Electrical / Industrial / Mechanical Technician (or Engineering) or related field.
  • Electrical hazards and safety training; maintenance; protections and control of electrical equipment.
  • Experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment, ideally with experience in maintenance and on DC traction substations.
  • Fluency in English and French; any other languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
