The Opportunity

The position serves as a key technical resource to generate new secondary packaging for new MAKE UP, SKIN CARE and HOME product launches in response to a given brief by international marketing teams and the implementation of new regulatory requirements.

What you'll get to do

  • Responsible of the management of packaging artworks.
  • Directly coordinate the design and artworks agencies, assuring that all artworks are aligned with regulatory, technical, and marketing requirements while following the brand packaging guidelines.
  • Perform and maintain the packaging SPEC and artworks database (SAP).
  • Evaluate packaging options and costs; preliminary BOM, coordination with purchasing team to define suppliers and costs.
  • Provide input on manufacturability and aspects affecting costs, provide tests/trials to obtain the best product performance.
  • Promote initiatives to improve the sustainability of the packaging and assure the best design for new packaging from a sustainability point of view.

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Engineering.
  • Languages: Spanish, English and French is a plus
  • Experience:
    • Packaging and artworks process experience from the design to the printing process desirable.
    • Understanding or experience in the pharmaceutical, make up or cosmetic industry desirable.
  • Commitment and work capacity.
  • Proactive and flexible attitude, with the willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Innovation and creativity.
  • Specific Knowledge required:
    • Basic use of Microsoft Office and similar tools.
    • Knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop.
    • Basic knowledge of graphics, typography, print and package production specifications/processes and packaging functions, from the design process to the prepress processes.
    • SAP is a plus.
