DIRECTOR GLOBAL QUALITY MRO BUSINESS AND OPERATIONS (F / M / X)
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Senior Leader for Global Quality MRO Business & Operations. This position is a key role to ensure the highest level of quality, satisfy customer expectations, and properly implement clients’ requirements. The purpose of this position is to champion a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement in products, processes, and activities within the MRO area of the company.
This role is instrumental in developing a collaborative, innovative culture that prioritizes continuous learning, cross-functional integration, and sustainable improvements. Working closely with senior leadership, this position will be responsible for building the framework that enhances the customer experience in terms of quality, on-time delivery, and overall service, which will result in achieving a sustainable competitive advantage and sustainable business growth across the entire MRO area of the company.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Quality, MRO aerospace industry, and continuous improvement tools and methodologies, as well as a proven track record of delivering measurable quality results. Strong leadership and communications skills in front of authorities, customers, partners is essential. Robust and evident knowledge about safety of product and airworthiness is essential.
What you will do :
- Leadership: Drive the Quality Assurance leaders of the MRO sites into which the MRO Business area is organized, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Ensure continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures to enhance product and service reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Quality KPIs Management: Manage quality KPIs and define roadmaps to address deviations from customer or internal requirements.
- Team Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.
- Best Practices Deployment: Ensure that good practices are deployed transversally across all operational units.
- Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding quality-related issues and matters.
- Address Customer Concerns: Address customer concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies for all MRO activities of the company.
- Performance Management: Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and implement development plans for team members.
- Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to understand their experience.
Who we are looking for :
Education : Technical degree in Aeronautical / Industrial Engineering or similar.
Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance within the Aerospace Industry (preferably specialized in MRO activities), with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
Required Knowledge :
- Quality assurance tools and methodologies.
- Standard assurance, regulatory standards and quality management systems.
- Product and Services (MRO).
Languages : Advanced level of English and Spanish.
