We are working with Merck , a global leader in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry , renowned for their commitment to innovation and improving patient outcomes. Our client, Merck Group , is a German multinational with 60,000+ employees in 66 countries, offers a unique opportunity to transform the world through healthcare, life sciences, and performance materials.

They are looking for a Solution Architect with deep knowledge of the Medidata Platform to lead, set up and manage their internal clinical trial systems.

You’ll play a key role in helping teams work more efficiently and securely by setting up smart, well-structured tools across various areas of clinical research, including data collection, trial management, and documentation. Your work will directly contribute to better transparency, faster access to data, and more streamlined processes, all while using cutting-edge AI technologies.

Main Responsibilities

Own the design and setup of the Medidata Rave platform across tools like EDC, CTMS / SSU, and eTMF

Work closely with internal teams and Medidata experts to deliver a smooth platform implementation

Manage user accounts and permissions to make sure people have the right access at all times

Support and mentor colleagues in using the platform effectively

Monitor and review access rights and training assignments regularly

Keep thorough documentation and ensure regulatory standards are met

Continuously look for ways to improve the use of the platform, with a focus on data integrity and system security

Core Skills / Experience

A Master’s degree in a relevant field (IT, Life Sciences, etc.)

5+ years of hands-on experience with the Medidata Rave platform and cloud systems

Proven success in setting up and improving digital platforms

Solid understanding of healthcare regulations (like GxP)

Familiarity with clinical trial data standards

Great communication skills – you’re comfortable working with different teams and driving alignment

A proactive, improvement-focused mindset
