About the role :

As a .NET Software Engineer, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to designing and developing innovative features, troubleshooting issues, and improving continuous integration and deployment processes. Your work will contribute to creating advanced OTT streaming solutions, websites, apps, and live broadcast systems, delivering seamless experiences to millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop platform features following SCRUM / Agile methodologies.
• Optimize and maintain codebases for performance and scalability, using GitHub for version control.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges with effective solutions.
• Lead development tasks within a continuous integration and deployment pipeline.
• Work with cloud infrastructure, utilizing services, containers, and virtual machines.
• Participate in code reviews, adopt new .NET technologies, and uphold engineering standards following Agile principles.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in .NET 8 / .NET Framework development.
• Proficiency in designing and building REST APIs with Web API.
• Experience with modern communication technologies like gRPC and Apache Kafka.
• Extensive knowledge of multithreading and parallel processing techniques.
• Strong understanding of NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
• Solid experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably MS SQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS.
• Experience with streaming protocols (e.g., DASH / HLS), video encoding (e.g., AWS Elemental Media Services), or video processing libraries (e.g., ffmpeg) is a plus.
