Business Development role responsible for translating vendor / technology growth plans internally and to drive them in specific strategic segments. Aligned with marketing on MDF and with the wider sales organisation on specialised opportunities.

Responsibilities :

  1. Grow profitable market share by executing the Business Unit strategy in full alignment under clear managerial direction.
  2. Negotiate key tenders and large deals with a comprehensive understanding of all job functions, industry best practices, techniques, and standards.
  3. Optimize results by driving sales within the vendor portfolio, including new vendor identification, onboarding, and other business development initiatives.
  4. Demonstrate a solid customer engagement strategy involving multiple parties and levels to drive successful business outcomes.
  5. Utilize TD SYNNEX resources effectively to help customers meet their strategic objectives.
  6. Take solution and service offerings, including TaaS, to market.
  7. Own quarterly vendor business planning and execution.
  8. Manage vendor relationships and create customer value propositions that protect margins and promote long-term, value-based engagement.
  9. Support sales teams to win and increase market share and wallet share.
  10. Engage with vendors and stakeholders to position TD SYNNEX as the “Trusted Advisor”.
  11. Ensure ongoing use of CRM tools for business continuity.
  12. Maintain full knowledge of assigned vendor’s product/service line.
  13. Develop tailored customer value propositions based on a clear understanding of customer requirements.
  14. Possess influence and persuasion skills, with strong communication abilities, both oral and written.
  15. Self-manage effectively and build multi-level relationships.
  16. Demonstrate high energy and motivation.
  17. Require 4+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor experience at a business development level, ideally from sales or product marketing background.
  18. Have comprehensive knowledge of all job functions, industry best practices, techniques, and standards.
  19. Experience in services and solution selling, strategic planning, and business case development.
  20. Experience working within a matrix organization and proven ability to self-manage externally.
  21. Business planning experience with a strong operational cadence.
