Based in Galindo, Spain, our Transformer Service Center is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with experts from Sales, Project Management, Procurement, and Operations to develop cutting-edge power transformers solutions that meet customer needs. You’ll gain hands-on experience, working with advanced simulation tools, and build strong relationships with customers by providing technical support and engaging in design reviews.

How you’ll make an impact

Design and manufacture power transformers that meet customer requirements.

Collaborate across departments to execute projects successfully.

Provide technical support to both internal and external customers.

Access and learn from experts within Hitachi Energy’s global network.

Use advanced simulation tools to solve complex technical challenges.

Prepare technical documents and engineering reports following established formats.

Tackle technical problems systematically and propose innovative solutions.

Contribute ideas to improve our products, processes, and tools.

Your background

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Physics.

Up to 2 years of professional experience, preferably with transformers.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Team player with a problem-solving mindset.

Fluency in Spanish and English.

Proficiency in PC tools; knowledge in electrical design tools is a plus.
