Summary

Technical Account Managers are the primary contact for Varonis customers and the first line of defense for data. All Varonis employees are Customer Success and Technical Account Managers are the tip of the spear. They provide onboarding and proactive ongoing value and support to customers. Success in this role requires being a motivated self-starter, committed to ongoing self-development, with strong technical and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure data is protected from insider threats, cyber-attacks, and policy violations.
  • Onboard customers to Varonis platforms and provide ongoing support.
  • Maintain customer success through proactive health checks, training, and sharing best practices.
  • Deliver quarterly business and risk reviews.
  • Identify and promote upsell opportunities alongside Sales.
  • Learn new Varonis products and develop expertise in clients' security ecosystems.
  • Assist Account Managers and Sales Engineers with renewal risk management.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact, supporting support and engineering teams.
  • Advocate for customers internally to ensure feedback is addressed.
  • Engage with various organizational levels of customers, including C-suite.
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical issues promptly, following up with recommendations.
  • Escalate issues when necessary.
  • Create knowledge base content for internal and customer use.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in a customer-facing role within Cloud, Cyber Security, or Data Security & Privacy.
  • Experience with Windows OS.
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT, cloud, and security technologies.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to customer success.
  • Team-oriented with a sales mindset.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically.
  • Willing to travel up to 25%.
