What are your responsibilities:

  • Staffing the lobby, boarding gates, operations, turn coordinator, baggage service and administrative.
    • Lobby - Check in customers, assist with special services (e.g. passengers with reduced mobility, overbooking situations), and resolve any check/in issues to ensure a smooth customer experience.
    • Boarding - Follow all established procedures to ensure safe and on-time departures, including final gate coordination and customer communication.
    • Operations - Handle flight documentations, including flight plans, cargo plans, fueling paperwork, slot management and delay handling.
    • Turn Coordinator (TC) - Coordinate the aircraft arrival, turnaround, and departure process in compliance with SOPs, performance metrics, and safety regulations, with the objective of ensuring on-time performance.
    • Baggage Service - Attend arriving flights to assist customers and resolve any baggage-related issues. Follow up on baggage claims and complete related administrative duties.
    • Administrative - After flight departures, agents will perform administrative tasks related to the day-to-day station administration, such as paperwork, invoicing reporting, supplies ordering, flight preparation, and support with local projects or business needs.
    • Maintaining a neat and professional appearance by adhering to United's standards for uniform and dress

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent school leaving certificate required
  • Must be able to work the ticket counter as well as the boarding gates and baggage service area
  • Must have a professional appearance
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy baggage
  • Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entire work shift
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Computer fluency, Word, excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and Outlook
  • Proven customer service work experience required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to travel to US for training if required
  • Must be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holiday
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Spain for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the position
