Senior Java Developer - Remote

What are we looking for?

We seek individuals who will contribute to projects with our global clients, including a leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking, and savings accounts. This is a 100% remote position for candidates located in Spain.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software.
2. Ensure stable and smooth maintenance of software, adhering to the DevOps model: "you build it, you own it, and you run it".
3. Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
4. Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
5. Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle, including QA and peer reviews.
6. Align with the goals and vision set by Product Management.
7. Innovate within your team and contribute within your technical domain.

What do we expect from you?

• Strong Java programming skills and experience in building APIs.
• Deep understanding of all stages in the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Knowledge of design patterns and principles (e.g., SOLID).
• Experience with testing types: Unit, API, Acceptance, Load Testing.
• Experience with distributed architectures like SOA or MSA.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Relevant experience with AWS services (desired but not mandatory).
• Experience with Gradle or Maven.
• Experience with Enterprise Jenkins.
• Experience working in Agile environments (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
• Proficiency in English (B2+ / C1).
