We are looking for top talent to join our team at UST, a multinational company based in North America. We seek individuals who will contribute to projects with our global clients, including leaders in credit cards, auto loans, banking, and savings accounts. This is a 100% remote position for candidates located in Spain.

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

  1. Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable software.
  2. Ensuring stable and smooth operation of delivered software within a DevOps model (“you build it, you own it, and you run it”).
  3. Optimizing application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  4. Working effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  5. Participating in the full Software Development Life Cycle, including QA and peer reviews.
  6. Contributing to the goals and vision set by Product Management.
  7. Innovating within your team and technical domain.

Qualifications and skills expected from candidates include:

  • Strong Java programming skills and API development experience.
  • Deep understanding of all SDLC stages.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and principles such as SOLID.
  • Experience with testing types: Unit, API, Acceptance, Load Testing.
  • Experience with distributed architectures like SOA or MSA.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with REST APIs.
  • Relevant experience with AWS services (desired for mid-level profiles).
  • Experience with Gradle or Maven, and Enterprise Jenkins.
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe).
  • English proficiency at B2+ / C1 level.
