Description of function :

The Sales Executive’s main objective is to generate new business to the company through the following responsibilities :

  • Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through commercial trips, cold calling and networking.
  • Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns.
  • To maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities by continued prospecting.

Some other responsibilities include :

  • Account Management of around 10 existing accounts.
  • Beyond individual objectives, to embrace and promote good teamwork spirit.
  • Recording of commercial activity in the appropriate management system.
  • Responding to and following up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Working closely with the project team in the early stages of new sales, and maintaining continuous awareness of project status to identify potential issues and / or opportunities related to the project.
  • Providing two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.

Requirements :

  • Excellent command of English (written & verbal).
  • Strong communication skills with a client-focused attitude.
  • Proven commercial skills required in order to maintain and enhance customer base.
  • Commercial experience in IT / Telecommunications related market would be a plus.
  • Ability to negotiate and liaise with prospects and customers.
  • Although not an absolute pre-requisite, we would prefer candidates with an academic background in a relevant subject (Telecommunications Engineering, Satellite engineering, IT / Networking or computers / programming).
  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.
  • Resident or citizen of a EU country, able to start immediate employment by OmniAccess in Spain without requiring any visa or work-permit.
  • Willing to travel.
