Our client is looking for an Account Manager to provide specific business and technical approaches to drive brands. He/she will develop the partner capability and knowledge required to sell the brand and grow the share of the partners' business. The Account Manager will also train the partner sales force on BU-specific product sales strategies and work closely with BU marketing and Inside Sales Representatives to drive and close partner lead generation.

The Responsibilities

  1. Manage partner forecasting and performance using tracking tools.
  2. Manage partner pipeline, detect new opportunities, and drive successful and profitable deal closures.
  3. Manage a portfolio of partners, developing their business sellout growth and margin based on strategy.
  4. Understand partner markets and competition through available tools, reports, and reseller reviews. Evaluate reseller interest in BU solutions.
  5. Define reseller targets for BU share of wallet growth and program qualification/certification; identify gaps and develop actions to close them. Grow BU with partners through joint planning.
  6. Educate partner sales forces on BU products and solutions.
  7. Drive value propositions and key selling points of client solutions, articulating benefits against competitors.
  8. Create partner loyalty, drive partner competencies, and ensure certification in BU products. Ensure partners meet BU Partner Program requirements (technical/sales certification, revenue thresholds).
  9. Ensure partners participate in promotions, events, and programs.
  10. Communicate events, webinars, and webcast information, and facilitate registration.
  11. Collaborate with partners to drive revenue via campaigns, opportunity identification, and closure.
  12. Identify qualified opportunities and support partners in closing big deals.
  13. Drive attach rates with resellers.

The Ideal Profile

  1. Fluent in Flemish and English.
  2. At least two years of related technical sales experience preferred.
  3. Experience working in a channel environment with knowledge of partners and distributors is a plus.
  4. Excellent negotiation, management, and communication skills (verbal & written), including presentation skills.
  5. Goal-oriented, with teamwork, collaboration, motivation, and time management skills.
  6. Ability to demonstrate innovation, good judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to plan and execute strategies to achieve goals.
  8. Familiarity with sales CRMs and Microsoft Office suite.
