The role of the IT Support Specialist is critical in maintaining productivity and delivering exceptional service to colleagues. As a first point of contact for all IT-related queries and issues, this individual will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems through remote and in-person support.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Acting as the primary contact for IT-related issues
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical problems
  • Configuring and installing new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Managing user accounts, access permissions, and software licenses
  • Providing guidance to staff on IT systems and applications
  • Supporting video conferencing, presentations, and IT aspects of meetings
  • Maintaining an accurate inventory of all IT assets and equipment
  • Processing and tracking equipment allocation, returns, and replacements
  • Coordinating with suppliers for IT equipment
  • Maintaining information security standards and assisting in the preparation of documentation for ISO compliance audits
  • Ensuring adherence to IT policies and procedures aligned with ISO requirements
  • Participating in regular security assessments and implementing required improvements
  • Monitoring systems for security breaches and responding according to established protocols
  • Contributing to disaster recovery planning and business continuity measures
  • Participating in IT projects and improvement initiatives

About The Ideal Candidate :

  • Experience, Knowledge, and Key Skills :
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support roles
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 suite
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of information security principles
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and requirements
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Calm approach to high-pressure situations
  • Fluent in written and spoken French, Spanish, and English, with the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
