More About The Role

We’re looking for a Site Procurement Buyer to join our team in Valladolid, Spain. As a Site Procurement Buyer, you’ll be responsible for achieving product cost optimization in the factory scope through value engineering, cost modeling, and supply chain enhancements. You’ll contribute to managing our supply chain responsibly with a structured and innovative approach committed to sustainability, including responsible minerals sourcing and carbon disclosure.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive procurement activities for your commodity at the factory level.
  • Manage suppliers related to your commodity and handle escalations regarding quality or delivery issues.
  • Lead cost-reduction projects and support cost optimization efforts.
  • Participate in engineering projects, providing the Manufacturing Engineering Team with accurate cost estimates and challenging them to optimize products and supply chains further.
  • Contribute to the supplier selection process by providing input on the supply base characteristics in collaboration with the Commodity Teams.

More About You

  • You hold a university diploma, preferably in a technical-economic field.
  • You have 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in procurement, cost engineering, strategic purchasing, or a similar environment.
  • You are an excellent team player.
  • You are agile, assertive, and communicate effectively.
  • You understand production technologies, materials, business models, and cost modeling.
  • You speak English and Spanish fluently.
