Frontend Developer

Phoenix Security is a cybersecurity start-up working on an exciting new product. We are looking for a founding Frontend Engineer to join our team. You will work on our new product, Phoenix Security, which is disrupting vulnerability management, application security, and cloud security. We seek a candidate who is self-managing, adaptable, and comfortable in a start-up environment.

Phoenix Security helps CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and developers communicate effectively about vulnerabilities. Our platform provides a clear view of vulnerabilities, contextualized within applications, with enriched information like application cost and risk levels.

Transitioning to a hybrid model, the role is based in Barcelona or Malaga, Spain, and requires professional proficiency in English.

Tech Stack : Angular, Visualization libraries (eCharts, D3), State management (Ngrx, Reactive store pattern), AWS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently on defined requirements and stories.
• Collaborate to improve implementation velocity and effectiveness.
• Propose functional and technical alternatives.
• Prepare and present drafts to teams and stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX issues, such as responsiveness.
• Make layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Follow style standards for fonts, colors, and images.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, client-facing and internal.
• Approachable and collaborative.
• Proven experience as a frontend web developer.
• Portfolio of projects.
• Familiar with web design.
• Strong team spirit and communication skills.
• Excellent time management.
• BSc in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field (preferred).
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, Github Projects.
• Located in or willing to relocate within commuting distance to Barcelona or Malaga.
