Position Summary

Are you ready to drive sales and shape the future of the aftermarket industry? Join our dynamic global team at ITW-AAME! The Area Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for developing and growing the company’s sales with current and potential new key customers. He/she implements our commercial BtoBtoC strategy to meet revenue and margin objectives. The KAM reports to the Sales Manager for Fluids Distribution and builds sustainable, close relationships with decision-makers and influencers within each customer's organization to meet and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

  1. Act as the main point of contact for our customers in the Fluids Professional Distribution.
  2. Achieve business objectives and annual growth targets in revenue and margin.
  3. Develop annual plans per customer to meet business goals.
  4. Forecast and report on sales figures, analysis, and performance regularly.
  5. Map customer organizations, identify decision-makers and influencers.
  6. Build mutually beneficial relationships with customers.
  7. Understand customer needs and prepare optimal commercial proposals.
  8. Explain our product value proposition and train key influencers of our 80 customers.
  9. Support customer sell-out and promotional campaigns.
  10. Prospect for new key accounts and identify new sales opportunities.
  11. Analyze industry trends and customer behavior.
  12. Attend main shows and customer events.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  2. 5+ years of sales experience in the Professional Distribution channel.
  3. Knowledge of Industrial Greases and/or Adhesives & Sealants is a plus.
  4. Passion and results-driven attitude.
  5. Ability to build relationships, influence, and negotiate in a BtoBtoC environment.
  6. Strong analytical skills.
  7. Highly organized, dynamic, and problem-solving mindset.
  8. Ability to understand technical products.
  9. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; adaptable and flexible.
  10. Languages: Spanish required; professional English is a plus.
  11. Proficiency with Windows, Power BI, ERP, and CRM preferred.
  12. Willingness to travel regularly (approx. 60%).
