What you will do :

The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Senior Product Designer on our Product Design team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing Engaging & Innovative User Experiences :

Craft engaging, easy-to-use mobile, web, and desktop design solutions that address both business objectives and user needs. Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and creative approaches, fostering a spirit of continuous improvement and encouraging the exploration of diverse solutions to enhance user experience.

  • User Psychology Expertise :

Leverage deep knowledge of user psychology including their behaviours, motivations, and attitudes, particularly in the context of e-commerce, travel, and technology. Apply behavioural insights and cognitive principles, use data-driven insights into user motivations, emotions, and pain points to inform design choices.

  • Delivering Design Excellence :

Produce wireframes, prototypes, journey maps, interaction flows, and design assets, collaborating closely with engineers to ensure seamless implementation. Utilize the design system effectively and contribute to its development.

  • Leveraging Research and Insights :

Use qualitative and quantitative research, market trends, and best practices to inform design decisions. Participate in user research activities and usability studies to define data-based design solutions.

  • Designing with Business Impact :

Leverage a deep understanding of business goals, KPIs, and metrics to inform and guide design decisions, connecting design strategies to measurable outcomes.

  • Crafting Solutions for E-Commerce Excellence :

Utilize in-depth knowledge of e-commerce trends, understanding of consumer behaviour, user motivations, and how retail environments impact user experience and decision-making.

  • Stakeholder Management :

Engage with stakeholders, align design goals with business objectives, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Effectively communicate the value of the designs, demonstrating how they contribute to business success, and influence stakeholders by showcasing the potential impact on user experience and key performance indicators.

  • Strategic Thinking :

Drive high-level strategic design initiatives that align with organisational goals and market trends, contributing to the development of long-term organisational plans that align daily work with the company's vision and strategic direction. Collaborate with leadership to define overarching design visions, ensuring alignment with business growth, brand evolution, and competitive advantage.

  • Self-Development and Mentorship :

Continuously expand your knowledge and skills, set challenging goals, act as a role model, seek feedback, and mentor team members to foster growth and learning across the team.

What you need to succeed :

Bring your unique perspective, speak up, and offer disruptive solutions. You'll have the opportunity to learn and grow while making a real impact on our team. Here's what you need to succeed :

  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience in Product Design with a proven track record of contributing to the full development lifecycle of web, mobile, and/or software applications.
  • Experience in designing for e-commerce platforms across all platforms with a strong understanding of complex e-commerce business models.
  • Proven experience in data-driven decision-making: the ability to critically assess design challenges, analyse data, and make informed decisions that improve the user experience and align with business goals.
  • Proven experience conducting usability testing and design research, independently or in collaboration with a UX research team; expertise in various UX research methods.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative, manages priorities, timelines, and resources to overcome obstacles. Works with passion, iterates fast, and collaborates effectively.
  • An online portfolio or samples of work showcasing your Product Design skills, including e-commerce design cases.
  • Fluent in English with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Presentation skills, with the ability to communicate design decisions and foster open, respectful team discussions.

Nice-to-Have Expertise :

  • Bachelor’s degree in design or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Keen attention to detail, with expertise in interaction design, typography, colour, and layout.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Experience in the travel industry or related sectors.
