Essential Functions

• Demonstrates competency in job-related skills appropriate to customer populations and departmental services.
• Assists in positioning patients for MRI and / or CT exams after appropriate training.
• Utilizes venipuncture skills in assisting CT and MRI techs as needed.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs tasks to assist remote technologists.
• Supports other staff and site operations of the imaging center.
• Positions and assists in MRI for the ROCC team.
• Starts IVs and administers contrast.
• Enters all patient notes in RIS.

License / Certification - Minimum Qualifications

• BLS Certification
• ARRT License
• State License
• Experience starting IVs and / or venipuncture

Physical Demands

This position may require lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods, with frequent standing and walking.

Dress Attire

Business casual or scrubs depending on department.
