Maintenance Technician - Food Manufacturing

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians (Electromechanical / Mechanical) to join our dynamic team in Tarragona Spain. The role involves executing corrective and preventive maintenance improving equipment reliability and ensuring optimal plant operations. This position is critical for maintaining high productivity during peak production periods.

Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties :

Execute maintenance tasks for electrical pneumatic hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair variable speed drives servomotors and PLC systems.

Propose and implement improvements to reduce breakdowns and enhance equipment maintainability.

Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Interpret electrical electronic and plane diagrams.

Maintain documentation for maintenance activities and audits.

Collaborate with the team to optimize plant operations.

Profile Requirements

Fluent in Spanish or English (written and spoken).

CFGS Higher Degree in Electricity and Electronics (preferred).

3-4 years of experience in factory maintenance preferably in continuous process environments.

Proficiency in electrical pneumatic hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Knowledge of industrial networks (Profinet / Ethercat / ASI Bus) and PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal).

Experience with plant services (steam water industrial cold) is an asset.

Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Proactive attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Willingness to work rotating shifts.
